The Result

The Church is victorious

Spiritual warriors not ignorant of the devil’s schemes.

Powerful

Trained in the Word – a powerful and effective two-edged sword (Heb 4:12)

Victorious

The Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven! (Mat 6:10)

Righteousness, peace and joy prevails (Rom 14:17)

In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us Rom 8:37

Effective

Pastors serve the peopleequipping and empowering them to fulfill their calling and destiny (not people serving the pastor).

Pastors and disciples are busy building God’s people to be an army of warriors and leaders.

(Gideon’s army of 300 disciples vs 30,000 converts)

True ministry is NOT about how many people will follow the pastor, but how many they train to follow Christ.

Stand against the World

Secular motivational teachings may sometimes be beneficial, but are only temporary.

It is only God’s Word that has the power to permanently transform.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Rom 12:2

You do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. Jn 15:19

The people are victorious

Trained in the Word – they walk in victory over the devil.

   Knowing the devil’s schemes (2Cor 2:11)

Wearing the armor of God (Eph 6:13-17)

Spiritual warriors actively bringing forth the Kingdom of God on earth, as it is in heaven (Mat 6:10)

The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy. Rom 14:17

The Kingdom of God is within you. Lk 17:21

The World could and should be at Peace and Victorious

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. (Jn 13: 34)

I am sending you to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me. Acts 26:17-18

We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 2Cor 5:20

The Church can Succeed

By:

Not forsaking the love for God (Mk 12:30; Rev 2:4-5)

By making disciples!

That is the final instruction of Jesus Himself – “Make 12”.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Mat 28:19-20

Obeying the Great Commission, discipling all nations, teaching them all things, and bringing forth the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven (Mat 9:10, 28:19-20)
