The Future
GOD HAS A DREAM
The Kingdom of God on earth, just as it is in heaven (Mat 6:9-13)
The battle is raging and it is up to His disciples to do the works of Jesus and bring forth God’s Kingdom.
- Being Christ’s ambassadors (2 Cor 5:20)
- Being about the Father’s business (Lk 2:49)
- To overthrow the forces of darkness and destroy the works of the devil (1Jn 3:8)
- To enforce the victory at Calvary!
- It takes an army – the Army of God – to wage spiritual war against the schemes of the enemy (2Cor 10:3-5)
- It is on the offensive!
An Army to snatch people free from the darkness of deception and the destiny of hell and to minister grace in the midst of chaos of human sin (Act 26:17-18)
Darkness and chaos resulting today in unprecedented stress, worry, depression, confusion, addiction and emotionally broken people throughout the world!
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches:
To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to eat from the tree of life in the Paradise of God. Rev 2:7
To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations. Rev 2:26
The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels. Rev 3:5
To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to sit with Me on My throne, just as I overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. Rev 3:21
Note:
- Many are called
Crowds followed Jesus!
Yet many stopped following because the teaching was too hard (Jn 6:66)
- Few are chosen (Mat 22:14)
His sheep hear His voice and follow (Jn 10:27)
God has always had His remnant and He will have His remnant in the last days.
Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. Eph 5:25-27
So that you may be blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine as lights in the world. Phil 2:15
These are men and women truly submitted to Christ – no longer living for themselves, but rather for the will of God. They have been transformed into the image of Christ and His life is revealed in their mortal bodies – reflecting His Glory.
As co-laborers with Christ, and a hatred in their hearts for evil and what the enemy has done and stolen, they are totally sold out for the cause of righteousness – determined to destroy the works of the devil, and usher in the Second Coming of Christ.
Whoever loses their life for my sake will find it. Mat 10:39
